The Odisha State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) has approved five investment proposals worth Rs 609 Cr which can generate employment for 1,500 people and give further boost to Make In Odisha initiative.
Giving nod to the projects, Chief Secretary directed concerned departments to provide proactive facilitation for early grounding of projects while ensuring installation of pollution containment measures in all units and adhering to the zero pollutant discharge policy.
Chief Secretary has also urged MD, Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Chairman-cum-Managing Director Sanjay Kumar Singh to develop plug and play industrial facility for prospective investors in priority sectors. He said it help in attracting investors looking to minimize the starting up period for their businesses.
